Being a lawyer is demanding—and the stress that comes with the job can take a serious toll on your health and your ability to meet professional responsibilities.
In this one-hour CLE, Patty Beck will explore:
The impact of stress on physical and mental health
Ethical obligations related to stress, competence, diligence, and communication
How mindfulness and meditation can reduce stress-related risks
Practical strategies to support well-being in your practice and workplace
How to recognize stress in yourself and your colleagues
Participants will also experience a brief guided body scan and leave with resources for developing a consistent mindfulness practice.

About Patty
Patty (Devoy) Beck is the President & Owner of A Balanced Practice, LLC and a Lawyer Well-Being Career Coach who helps lawyers reduce stress, avoid burnout, and enjoy their legal careers. She is also a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher who teaches lawyers, judges, and legal professionals how bringing strategies like mindfulness and self-compassion into their lives can help with managing stress while enhancing their skills in the legal profession.
